mitimiti is a northern beach on the west coast of the north island, above the hokianga harbour. I stayed there for a few days in February 2007, with some friends.
the place made a very strong impression on me, physically, visually, and emotionally. it is a place of great power and presence; expansive, intense, magnificent.
